About Oakdale
Oakdale is an intimate, quiet residential pocket tucked away at the northeastern edge of Burnaby, sitting at the base of Burnaby Mountain. It is a unique "border" community—physically located in Burnaby but often associated with the shifting energy of the Burquitlam area in Coquitlam. Historically a neighborhood of small acreages and post-war bungalows, it is currently one of the city's most significant areas of transition.
